Strange, they suggested the broomstick carved down to fit here also. BTW, the hex is 24 mm, I measured it for future reference, a bolt or nut could be welded to an old socket to build the tool. I was pleased that when I showed them the problem with the suggested tool the parts guy called called Suzuki tech services and they went out to the shop and tried it and then came up with the alternative as their special tool wouldn't fit down the fork tube either. At least they did something before the air wrench method was suggested. I got the lights wired in the bags tonight so tomorrow should be a 'scootin' day. Max
